Wouldn’t you like to be part of a team? Maybe you have a couple of barn buddies who would love to partner up with you? Or maybe, you wish you could still go riding with your best friend, who now lives 5 states away?

Trax Teams are the perfect solution!

The Trax Program has been created for just this reason. You can build a team of next door neighbors or of friends scattered throughout the world. Either way, your team will compete in virtual and local shows, and their scores will count for your success!

Riding with a partner is always more fun than riding alone. While we can’t physically trailer a friend to your place, we can allow you to meet up online, compare your rides and scores, and do your best to help your team win. 

  • Trax Team size is at least 2 competitors
  • One person riding 2 different horses is equal to 2 competitors and requires 2 registrations. Changing horses during the competition year will incur a $20 fee.
  • One horse being ridden by 2 riders is equal to 2 competitors and requires 2 registrations.
  • Each team competitor must submit at least 3 tests per year.
  • Each team must reach the minimum qualification threshhold of 750 points. (Each percentage score earned equals the same number of points)
  • Each team must submit at least 3 Ground tests (6ftGround, Long-Reining, In-Hand Trail, or Ground Freestyle)
  • Each team may have one Pro rider (not required).
  • If all competitors in a team are under 18, the team is eligible for the Youth Category.
  • The 2023 Trax Competition begins Jan 1 and ends Nov 30.
  • Scores earned at NAWD Virtual Shows are eligible

  • Traditional Dressage (Dressage on a Dime or USDF/EF)
  • NAWD Trail
  • NAWD All-Around Freestyle
  • NAWD Ranch Horse
  • NAWD Long-Reining
  • NAWD Six Feet On The Ground
  • Gaits Wide Open (NAWD, Dressage on a D
  • Therapeutic (where eligible)

NAWD designates 50% of fees for prizes and awards. In 2017 we awarded $4000!
