Kerry has been teaching and training for over 22 years and is passionate about transforming horse and
rider as a whole with a strong focus on horsemanship, correct biomechanics and partnership. With an
extensive background in multiple disciplines, her true love lies with Dressage and Western Dressage.
Kerry works with all levels/ages of riders, and really loves teaching people how correct biomechanics can
affect our horses both under saddle and on the ground. She specializes in re-training horses with tension
and anxiety to build confidence again, making relaxation and harmony a priority, and treating each
horse as an individual. Groundwork and In-Hand work are an important part of her teaching philosophy,
and she has a great love for working with horses bitless.
Kerry became an NAWD licensed judge in 2018, and believes that online showing is a fabulous
opportunity to progress without the stress factors of live shows. She currently shows her 2020 Quarter
Horse mare in NAWD’s online shows and plans to compete Western Dressage with her in the future.
